a wonderful story to reflect this lenten season

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry... Please come in and have something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?” they asked.
"No", she replied. "He's out."
"Then we cannot come in", they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!"
The woman went out and invited the men in"
"We do not go into a House together," they replied.
"Why is that?" she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How nice!!” he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!"
His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?"
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!"
"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to his wife.
"Go out and invite Love to be our guest."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest."
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?"
The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success!!!!!!"

my chemistry and physics problem

Do still remember your chemistry and physics lessons? Me? I find it very hard to understand those definitions, chemical bonds, and the like. I don’t! I really wanted to seek chemistry help way back in high school. Mind you, I always listen to my teacher’s explanation and jot down important points (maybe just listen, I didn’t listen well or maybe I was daydreaming about going home). I remember when we had a long quiz about lots and lots of chemistry problems, I almost fainted! It seems like my mind went blank and I started to sweat. I told myself, this is going to be a really long quiz of my entire life . With all the substance, chemic al reactions, I can’t even remember if my chemistry answers turn out well. Anyway, I can’t believe I hit the mark and accomplished my chemistry subject (well, not as good but better than I expected)

Here come my physics problems! When I was in high school, I can’t understand physics well too. But chemistry is was harder than physics because when I was in college, I managed to have the top grade ever. Then I realized, maybe my experience with chemistry and other problematical subjects, everything was a teacher factor. For the reason that my physics problem solver, one of my favorite teachers (Mr. Earlie Doriman) was outstanding in presenting each lesson everyday. It seems like my mood is going up and down. I had a blast last time then gloomy moment. I really can’t understand my mood lately. Maybe my wants and expectations were not met. It appears that my mood is like the price of gold. It goes up and down; you have to check gold prices often. As we all know, gold stays shiny! It does not tarnish even the strongest acids will not strip off the shine. Well, my mood is like that. It goes up and down, but it can tarnish and does not stay shiny all the time! I wish acids can take away my moldy mood. I am really upset right now.

Hello! I hope you are doing fine today! I am going to share this story from my e-mail. This is a wonderful story to reflect on. This is just a joke, but seriously, this is reality.

While walking down the street one day a Corrupt Philippine Senator was tragically hit by a car and died.

His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.

"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you."

"No problem, just let me in," says the Senator.

"Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity."

"Really?, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the Senator.

"I'm sorry, but we have our rules."

And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.

The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.

Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the Filipino people.

They played a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and the finest champagne.

Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who is having a good time dancing and telling jokes.

They are all having such a good time that before the Senator realizes it, it is time to go.

Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises...

The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him, "Now it's time to visit heaven.."

So, 24 hours passed with the Senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.

"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."

The Senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell."

So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell..

Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.

The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulders.

"I don't understand," stammers the Senator. "Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?"

The devil smiles at him and says, "Yesterday we were campaigning ...Today, you voted.."
