Rain in Summer

April is about to end. And until now… I am still longing to feel the heat of the sun on my face. I want to have my summer getaway! April to May…the summer months! burn calories for better health

I feel restless because of my weight and I am not doing anything to help me perspire. I am not doing any strenuous activity but I feel very tired after work. A friend told me that I needed to burn calories! Exercise can bring your mood up too, he added. But I have no time to visit the gym! I also have no time to have my walk around the neighborhood or at the park for 30 minutes or more. I really wanted to shed some pounds! When you see my pictures when I was still “teen”, I was so really thin. And now, I am not thin and not even a “teen”. Kidding aside, as we get older, we have to take care of our health more. So we better do exercises everyday.

Treadmill or elliptical? I think I needed elliptical.

I just can’t believe the news about dropping the charges to the Ampatuan! Imagine? The Department of Justice secretary just ordered to remove the names of Zaldy and Akhmad from the case. According to Justice Secretary Alberto Agra told the Associate Press, "There is no evidence to prove conspiracy and there is evidence to support their alibi." This is INSANE!!! Zaldy Ampatuan provided airline tickets showing he was not around at a November 22 meeting or at the crime scene. Akhmad presented witnesses and pictures that showed that he was at the medical mission when the killings happened. Agra also rejected the petitions from the principal suspect, Andal Ampatuan Jr., and his father Andal Ampatuan Sr., to be cleared from the murder charges.
I feel for the families of the victims. According to Harry Roque (lawyer for the victims), they plan to appeal the ruling. "They wept not only for this injustice but also out of fear for their safety," Roque said. "They cannot sleep now that the Ampatuans are being cleared."
This is history! What can we expect from the government? Especially that the suspects are close to the administration. How much bribe did they receive? I hope Agra can’t sleep at night! Shame on you! Shame on us!

I am counting on the appeal. I am going to pray and bend my knees! Justice should prevail.

Our differences did not make our relationship grow stronger. It made us so (severely) different. I wanted to have a relationship that will help both parties to grow and develop into a better person. I felt that I became a bad person. (Am I really bad? This question, remains in my mind). Or we are just so different and so alike? Since our views, opinions and beliefs always clash! I thought I needed to change my views, opinions and beliefs to lessen the misunderstanding. We were so compatible that made us incompatible. We wanted to be treated like this and that, I wanted you to treat me like this and that, you wanted me to treat you like this and that. Our temperament too, we easily get sensitive about different stuffs. We are in love, but love was not enough to sustain a happy and healthy relationship.

I thought change can transform me, can transform us. But I never thought that change can tear down my own self. I felt that I am lost in my own world. So I needed space. But I guess all I need was freedom. I love you, goodbye. (this song is an extension of what my heart can’t express)

what to do in car accident (philippines style)

Yesterday, we encountered an accident. We were hit by a taxi. The taxi stepped on the gas (fast) but it was too late for him to step on the break. After the clash, the rain poured (it’s like heaven was not on our side). So while we were waiting for the traffic officer, I imagined myself driving along the city. (Now I am scared to drive! I can’t drive!)

The taxi made a minor damage to our vehicle. I know it was a simple scratch but we can be hurt. I thank God that He protected us that time. It is very unfortunate that our vehicle does not have insurance. I was so angry to the taxi driver! He seems arrogant and he does not like to say his name. After 10 minutes, there came our hero, the traffic officer. Whew! For the damages and stuffs, the owner should be present to have the negotiation. Well, my mother was not there so we had to wait for her for another 10 minutes. The driver outfit: white shirt, maong shorts and slippers with noticeable tattoo on his right arm! And that is a violation, I don’t know of the officer noticed it. I overheard him talking like “ asa naman tong tag-iya? Late na kaayo ko sa pag-uli sa sakyanan” (where is the owner of the car? I am late in returning this taxi.) The nerve!!! Imagine??? Thinking of his face makes my head boil! He almost got us killed! GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

Anyway, if ever you encountered this kind of accident. Here are the things you have to do (here in the Philippines):

• Inhale and exhale (relax, everything can be settled in a relax manner)

• Don’t ever park your vehicle anywhere, stay wherever you are.
• Go down and face the offender (if any case, you are the offender, then don’t panic! Never ever do “hit and run”)
• Call 911 for help
• Wait for the traffic officer (they will make a report about the accident)
• Then after that, the officer will advice both drivers to give their driver’s license and the ownership certificate of the vehicle. (so better bring both of it everyday)
• Next, at the nearest police station. (then settlement will be done their)
• Discuss properly and be polite.
• After 3 days, you will get the police report and arrangement will follow.

As for our case, we will let the taxi operator pay for the damages. I don’t know what will be the arrangements about this.

I have no idea if this also applies to other countries. :-)

it is better to be unhappy alone than be unhappy with someone

I'm immature (in some ways!), impatient (ow yes, when you are late!) and a little insecure (just a little, because from what i've heard from your past). I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as (hell) don't deserve me at my best. I am good, but not an angel. I do sin, but I am not a devil. I am just a small girl in this big world trying to find someone to love me.

easter decision- my resignation

Happy Easter! I know my greeting is so late (but better late than never!). I was so busy with stuffs. I really mean big stuffs! A big decision I made. Within the Lenten Season, I reflected and thought about things… As a result, I have to change my route. I tendered my resignation yesterday. It was a mind-boggling decision to do. Yet, I was happy to do it. Actually, I am so excited to venture to the other side of the road.

I have been here (and still here) at my comfort zone for almost 3 years after college. (My college years was also a comfort zone for me) while others lived independently at their boarding houses and apartments, I was under the roof of my parents (under their scrutinizing eyes). While they could do whatever they wanted (like go out, have fun and go back very early in the morning), I had curfew (10pm). To think I am at the right age! I never had the chance to explore things, just now (but still, my father still raise questions like why I went home late and to think it’s still 10pm). While others planned their finances for food, lodging and necessities, I had everything for free (no charges!). While others made their own decisions, I had to consult my parents to decide for me. (wait, until now I am still experiencing those moments) I was cradled by my own parents and under their shadows. I don’t know if I was lucky or what. If God is preparing something big or drastic for me. I am a little scared tot think that why God didn’t give me challenges at all. They always say that when God gave you so many Crosses, God loved you so much. I am not praying for crosses or what. On the other hand, I feel lucky that God is not giving me BIG Crosses, just little ones. I feel lucky that I am under my parent’s roof.
Anyway, back to my resignation. I am going to venture to the risky side. Do you think generating online income can suffice my needs? I’ve decided to concentrate on that. (When I am at work, I do blogging and all, so, I am not really focusing on my job) I don’t want to sacrifice my real job. So after a month, maybe I’ll look for online jobs to provide for my necessities. What do you think? I am also considering putting a business too.
