Talking about Stars and Lighting before sleeping

There is one thing that I love when I am out at night, gazing at the stars, twinkling and wishing that one star would fall so I can make a wish. It’s so wonderful to see beautiful lights! Even city lights, it amazes me how striking those golden lighting of outdoor posts, they shine like stars and creating breathtaking view. How I wish our house is located in skyline, so I can witness such an awesome sight every night.
Anyway, seeing beautiful lights outside is great, on the other hand, beautiful lights inside our home is also wonderful. Indoor lighting can create beautiful ambiance in rooms. Living rooms should be well-lighted; a gorgeous chandelier or ceiling lights can add light and beauty. For hallways, wall scones will also be nice. There are different lights you can place inside your home, from walls, to ceiling, lamps here and there, everywhere! (Lighting is style with a purpose)

In time, I can have my own home; I would invest on lights- outdoor and indoor lighting. I don’t want to have a dark or dull hallway, I want light! I want to create a homey feel. I can imagine my own home with swing arm wall lighting beside my bed (just like the picture above, I would love to have that beside me bed so I can make use of the light for reading before hitting the sack).
Speaking of heading to bed, I am going to sleep right now. I hope to have the sweetest dream tonight. Thanks for reading friends!

Lucky to have PR1

I am so delighted to announce that my SweetDonut’s Pink world Blog got a PR1! Yipee! I can’t believe it! I was planning to delete it, but luckily, tried checking my PR. Thanks Mr. G! I am updating it as much as possible because Mr. G can possibly change his statistics in no time. Need to increase it to receive tasks, more tasks.
I’m checking my mail regularly, sending my applications online almost everyday. Hopefully, I can entertain job interviews and tests. However, I need to gamble. Doing some online tasks and waiting to be paid.

Another wedding invitation...Arvin & Riva Nuptials

Let the dove and balloon fly!

I am going to share the 3rd wedding party we attended. It's Arvin (cousin of my dada) and Riva's wedding. You can feel that love was in the air last January 7. Arvin and Riva said "I do" after dating for 9 years. Just imagine? 9 years? as couple? What a lovely couple! Arvin's speech was so moving (I kept my composure because I might end up in tears)!

Just us. :-)

I rarely wear a dress and put make up on (even in formal gathering), but this is an exception. (I wonder what will I wear for the next wedding? hhmmm...)

PS: I would like to thank myself for the make up and for my mother for her turquoise dress. :-)

Marketing strategies?

When you have your own business, expect the most awful experience. If there’s such thing as worse than worst, then that’s the word! Yesterday, it was good. Now, it’s low.
I had a conversation with a former colleague; she also had a bad experience with her business. She closed her business in a matter of months, I think. Hearing from her story, I can relate how she learned her lesson, lessons learned in a hard way. I don’t know if she’s willing to risk once more for a business. Maybe I am going to try casino gambling. What do you think?
Sorry for making such post, I am just a little down today. I want to express my worries regarding our business.

Business is Down, I have to gamble!

Business is down. This is a very unfortunate event. I don’t know how or why or what went wrong. Maybe, this is not meant for us. Or maybe we lack marketing strategies to push our food business. Now I realized, it’s difficult to manage your own business. Well, I want to go abroad and find greener pastures, and when the time I have more than enough savings, I’ll come home and start my own business. Having a business is not easy. That’s what most of young people who’s working hard to earn much and thinking that they can put up their own business without problems. Here’s an advice, before you go home to your homeland, make sure that your business is doing well before deciding to come home.
I thought it would be simple, I thought we can earn extra, but, I was so wrong. Business is taking risks, you have to gamble!
Speaking of gamble, I wish I can play online casinos and win! I need the pot cash to pay our loans. Help! But I believe in Him, God will provide.

I want to share some of memorable pictures from my Atchi’s wedding (Atchi=Ate=Older Sister). I was so happy for my sister; she looked so beautiful on her gown. The couple made it to the point to have a unique wedding. Mark, her husband, was so creative and made innovations. He made table numbers, invitations, Ninong and Ninang thank you gift package, fans, the AVP, edited their pre-nuptial pictures, and many more. (I’ll be posting his works soon…)

My guy was also invited, so, it was really a celebration. I, as the maid of honor, and him as one of the grooms’ men. It was our first time to dress up for a special occasion (I am a jeans and t shirt girl, so I don’t dress up). So we made sure to take numerous pictures. (I really love my eye make up that time, I looked different! Now I know the magic of make up, hahaha)

By the way, I can't wait for my nephew/niece! I would love to cuddle and hug their baby soon. (Make it fast, have a baby now!)

Our Christmas and New Year 2011

I have a lot of things to blog about. About my Christmas, our New Year, my sister’s wedding, my life, my search for job vacancy… etc…
I will be posting and I’ll my blog with pictures. I will start with my Christmas and New Year. I was excited to announce that I didn’t eat too much! Yes! I know, who am I kidding??!!? Honest to goodness, maybe my Spirulina tablets helped me minimize my cravings. Ow yeah! I’m loving it! I am happy to say that I lose some weight!
We celebrated our Christmas eve at my sister’s new home (she got married Dec. 16 2011) on the 24th. Then on Christmas day, at my Aunt’s house in Ruby Subdivision (mother’s side. we usually have our gatherings here because of space and stuffs, lol).
Our New Year, dinner at my sister’s house again, then straight to my Aunt’s house (Buhangin) at midnight (father’s side. to catch up with the party). January 1, back to Ruby again.
I did not receive lots of gifts, compared last year. I was not able to give gifts to all, unlike last year. I need to budget my little-tight-means. Anyway, we had fun taking pictures! Seeing my family and being with them was the best gift!

 

Gifts won’t last but pictures will. So we better take pictures (as many as possible), to celebrate life’s greatest reward – being with your loved ones.

Pass the interview

In an interview, you have to be equipped with skills in answering various topics. You have to make sure that you are acquainted with the job description and you aim to promote the essence of being a medical care provider.
Competition is tough! Get ready to stumble and fall, but with the assistance of training, for instance, the Teach the Teacher course (for Doctors who wanted to teach), and many more! If you want to get ahead, get involved in a training course!

Predictions for 2011

Before starting the predictions, I would like to greet everyone a May you have another fulfilling and prosperous year!

Anyway, I'll be posting some of MY predictions (not my predictions about the world but forecasts for of my 2011). I really like to read predictions! I have a strong belief that we are connected with one another. What I am trying to say is that, the planet, the sun, the moon and all the elements of the Earth can affect your stars. I do believe in Astrology, Feng Shui and the likes. We receive energy from the gravity of the Earth. The elements should be balanced-- earth, water, fire and metal. It's just a guide on what not to practice this year or a protection on what negative may come your way.)
I think reading Astrology gives me hope. To look forward if I’ll be lucky this year of the Rabbit!
