I just want to share some of the useful links shared by Yahoo Matchmove-save money on textbooks.

The article shared about free e-books links for students. I was so happy to know that there are sites that offer free e-books (so thoughtful of them). I really wanted to read self-help books, stories of hope, inspirational anecdotes and about love. I was so excited to browse and found Chicken Soup for the Soul e-book! I really don’t have any idea I can read Chicken Soup Books online. Of course, all stories were not posted but I am glad I can read some heartfelt stories about life. Now I know what to do when I am bored with Facebook. Actually, I am beginning to dislike Facebook. I mean it takes so much of my time, just playing and reading posts. It’s like taking too much of my idle time, hahaha!

Anyway, I’ve realized Resolution number one, less online games; less Facebook; next, read more e-books and write more blog posts.

I think I am beginning to rekindle my love for books (Quick story: My dada surprised me with a Sophie Kinsella’s Can you keep a Secret Book which I already have a copy. And with a note “I hope this rekindles your love for books”. He was disappointed because I already have that book. Reminiscing that moment makes my heart melt with laughter. I can still remember his face when I told him I already know the story). However, watching television is my one great love. Hahaha! I would never give up watching television, hehehe… Right now I am reading Chicken Soup. :-)

Back to e-books, here are the links shared by Yahoo.

Education is changing. From the traditional autocratic style to democratic style, and combination of both, the goal is to transmit accumulated knowledge, values and skills from generation to another generation. Time is also changing. Transmitting knowledge with the help of teachers, informal set-up, experience and technology. In education, technology plays a big role nowadays. Classrooms have laptops and other educational gadgets to enhance the learning experience. Using technology as a tool to meet the needs of the different types of learners of the 21st century.

Speaking of different types of learners and technology, you can learn and earn a degree online. Online Universities will allow you to study on your own pace and time. You can still work and study at the convenience of your own home. Students can save in transportation because they don’t have to commute. Avoiding the high cost of board and lodging too. Studying online can be an advantage on students who wanted to work and study at the same time. It will allow you to juggle things and making your study time flexible. For the degree programs not available in your area, you can count on online schools, having the access to online colleges and universities.

If only this online degree programs were introduced in my time, I might enroll in psychology online degree program. Or maybe online degree programs in business management or marketing, film or even photography. There are online programs that will suit your interest. You can browse different schools and programs easily. With the use of technology, you can get your dream degree. For mothers out there, here is your chance to start earning a degree.

Education is within your reach. For financial help, you can apply for financial aid here http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ . If there is a will, there is a way. Start your online program now! It’s never too late to have a degree.

Movies and Sports betting

Sometimes when I don’t have things to do or just hanging around the house, I like to watch movies until I fall asleep. Watching movies makes you discover different culture, fall in love, be inspired and of course learn. I think it’s the favorite past time for all ages.
I like action, adventure and love stories. I also like animated films too. And I really dislike horror, suspense and thriller films. I don’t understand why we pay so much just to watch movies that are scary. I know it sounds funny but just a thought. Anyway, I prefer to watch a feel good movie rather than movies that will make me hide under my pillow.
Have you watched Two for the Money Movie? It’s about a sports betting movie. It’s about a football player that was injured and that accident made him be connected with sports gambling. When we speak about betting, it is important to know which side you are betting. Know the inside and out of the team. In the movie, knowledge and understanding of the football took the main character to riches. Al Pacino, Rene Russo and Mathew McConaughey were the stars of this 1995 movie.
I think you should watch this movie if you are interested in sports betting. Basketball betting, soccer betting and many more! You will surely enjoy the experience!

Try your luck and have fun!

I fell in love with fishing. Caught 4 fishes. It really felt good when you raise the fishing rod with a good catch.

I just want to greet my self HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I am in my late 20’s right now. I can feel the pressure’s on my shoulder. Hehehe… When I was in my teen years, I thought I was old and wishing not to pass 20 something. Toink! Think again, I can’t stop the clicking of time. I have to forget my age and remember the wisdom I gained. But too bad, as I grow wiser, at the same time I’m growing wider. Hahaha! My goal now is to grow wiser! Wiser! Wiser!

Well, 2011 was also my turning point in my career life; it made me realize that I am taking the right path. It felt like God wanted me to be in this position. No matter where God will lead me, I know it’s best for me. Thank you Lord for showing which better path.

Here's the yummy fishes!
Anyway, we went to a kiddie resort. Dip for a while, went fishing and then continued the celebration at home. Then I went out with my dada at night. Just a simple celebration, a worthy one.

If you are looking for a good investment, then you are in the right page. I am going to share what I learned from web search. But first, let me greet everyone… Good day! How are you? I know it’s been a while since I posted something on my blog. I was so busy doing stuffs. Sorry for not updating. Nevertheless, better late than never, right?
So this is what I learned from my readings. One good investment is to buy something worthy and you can sell it more than 100 percent of the price. Yes, I am talking about IRA gold. Investors are putting their gold in IRA. Of course, when we retire, we want to enjoy more and travel more. But how can we do that if we didn’t consider investing as a retirement plan. Hold on to your gold, invest it and it will be your retirement asset.
It’s best to prepare your future by putting a long term investment, gold is the best example. Imagine, you have $25,000 gold IRA this year and by the next 10 years the value will increase in hundreds. Gold will never depend on productivity of the company, performance of an employee or the likes. It is accepted by all and the value multiplied.
Today is the best way to establish your Individual Retirement Account. Let us all prepare for our rainy days! Plan, invest and buy gold for your future. You can either invest in bonds or stocks, or better establish 401k gold. Whatever suits you, physical asset is a plus point.
I hope you learned something too. Thanks for reading.
